After a successful debut season, Luther’s Third Saturday Market returns to Main Street Saturday, April 18, with a key upgrade: a block of Main Street will be closed to traffic, turning downtown into a welcoming pedestrian marketplace where locals and visitors can meander from vendor booth to booth and pop into shops with ease.
The monthly market, held on the third Saturday of each month, runs from 9 am to 1 pm and features a diverse lineup of local vendors offering food, crafts, fresh goods, and unique finds.
Vendors this Saturday (to date) include:
- Shepherd Farms — artisanal sourdough bread and grass-fed tallow
- Big R Coffee — freshly roasted Luther coffee served by the cup or available by the bag to take home
- Colorful Expressions — face painting for kids and adults, plus bookings for paint parties and custom murals
- Fowl Feather Friends — fresh farm stand with eggs and seasonal produce
- Broken Halo — local honey, fresh-cut flowers, and sourdough bread
- Fox in Socks — unique handmade crochet items, handmade makeup bags, and fun accessories
- Brenda Austin — permanent jewelry and skincare tips and products
- Luther Historical Society – information on The Plaza and Community Bunko (first Thursdays)
- Luther Library — books, books, books, and upcoming program previews
Visit Luther Shops, a sampling:
- Glassic Designs — custom screen-printed clothing, gifts, and Route 66 memorabilia
- CD Harris Design Co. — clothing, unique gifts, specialty foods, books, and vintage items
- Rustic Farm — antiques, vintage goods, and a rotating selection of new vendors inside their brick-and-mortar storefront
- Main St Nutrition — easy, grab-and-go energy drinks, protein shakes, and bites to stay fueled all day
- Luther Hardware & Lumber — essentials, tools, and talking shop
- Chicos Luther Mexican Grill and Cantina – breakfast and lunch
“I appreciate my regular customers so much, but I also enjoy meeting new people who come to shop,” said Pam Simmons of Rustic Farm. “Downtown activities definitely increase traffic and sales. SHOP LOCAL!”

This new car-free setup is expected to create a more relaxed and connected shopping experience, encouraging visitors to explore both the street vendors and the downtown businesses that line Main Street.
