Luther Pecan Festival Returns on November 7

The ninth annual Luther Pecan Festival returns to the heart of town on Saturday, November 7, 2026, celebrating local pecans, artists, small businesses, and the enduring charm of Route 66. The one-day event centers on downtown Luther, with special activities at The Orchard on 66 (Couch Pecans).

Produced by Luther Register News in partnership with The Orchard on 66, the festival brings together vendors, food trucks, live music, shopping, and family-friendly fun. Visitors will find a wide selection of handmade crafts, artwork, and goods from Oklahoma artisans and small businesses, along with fresh pecans for sale, pecan pies, and other pecan delectables.

Food options range from classic festival fare to pecan-inspired treats. Shoppers can explore downtown stores while supporting the local economy that keeps Luther’s small-town spirit alive.

A highlight of this year’s festival is the return of the Pecan Cookoff. Contestants will compete with pecan pies and other sweet and savory pecan-forward dishes. Foodie judges will select winners, and a People’s Choice Award will invite festival-goers to cast their votes for their favorites.

New for 2026 is a Pecan Passport Hunt.  Participants will follow clues around downtown and the Orchard, capturing photos and exploring local landmarks, vendors, and businesses. Completing the hunt offers a chance to win prizes while discovering more of what Luther has to offer.

At The Orchard on 66, festival-goers can also enjoy Pistons and Pecans, a car show featuring classic vehicles set among the pecan trees.

Interested vendors are encouraged to email dawnshelton@lutherregister.news with a detailed description of your products. The festival carefully combines crowd favorites and unique treasures to delight every shopper, just in time for gift-giving season, pecan pie eating, and buying fresh pecans!

For nine years, sponsors have helped shape the Luther Pecan Festival into a community-driven celebration. The festival originated as an effort to draw visitors to Luther while giving artists and businesses a chance to shine. Sponsorships support the festival’s expenses while providing valuable exposure, including the benefits of participating in the new Pecan Passport program.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 7, and plan to spend the day downtown—and at the Orchard—celebrating pecans, creativity, and community. Check back for updates and news about the 2026 Luther Pecan Festival.
