
Another night, another meeting in Luther. It’s how it goes the second week of the month.
The Luther Town Board and the Luther Public Works Authority meet tonight.
- Trustee Cecilia Taft has an item about posting the town’s bank balance on an open agenda.
- Town Trustees will talk through how to shut down Main Street for special events, particularly for the activities of May 7, 2016 for Alumni Weekend. That Saturday will feature a parade and street vendors.
- There will be talk about having a town-wide Garage Sale.
- The board will go into executive session to possibly interview or hire a number of positions: office manager, town clerk/treasurer (elected), code enforcement office and animal control officer.
And public comments will be accepted – if commenters stick to an agenda item and keep it under two minutes.
