Celebrating the Life of Ronnie Cottrell

Mossy's Milk Soapery

Ronnie Cottrell (Opa), 61, left this world for a time to be with Jesus on August 14, 2018. He fought a painful and long courageous battle to be there for the people that needed him. He was very sick and very tired and really needed rest and healing that wasn’t available here.

Ronnie was a huge teddy bear always trying to do the right thing and treat all children made in the image of God with respect and dignity. He has touched every person that ever knew him with a sense that they were greater than they believed. He was a simple man that had the childlike faith of Jesus down to a pat.

Ronnie was a peacekeeper and forgave “seventy times seven” time and time again. He stayed as long as he could to prepare all the people that loved him so much for his next journey. But the Lord told him he had suffered and done enough and needed His rest. He had spent his life serving everyone else, and now he is finally at peace watching us and serving us from above.

He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father. He is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter and six grandchildren who were his life. He will be dearly missed in this world but Heaven gained a true angel.
