The Luther Lions took the Area Champ trophy Friday after beating Nowata 76 – 69. We will wait until Sunday to find out the LIONS’ next game for the State Tournament. 
The Lady Lions also earned a WIN earlier today beating Dale 41 – 27, after beating Wyandotte earlier this week by 20 points. They play again Saturday for their last game before state. They play Saturday at 6:30 pm at Catoosa High School. For high school students, a Spirit Bus will leave from the high school at 3:30 pm.
The Lady Lions also were named Academic All-Staters!
