A temporary stoplight will stretch across Luther Road where it crosses the bridge over the Turner Turnpike to keep the road open during road work. When work begins on Monday, the road will not be closed, says Brian Jasper, Superintendent, Oklahoma County District One.
A sign on Luther Road alerting motorists of the upcoming work raised some questions.
There will be some delays as the road will be down to only one lane while the work is underway, so drivers might give themselves some extra travel time.
If all goes as scheduled, the job will be complete by the end of next week. The work begins Monday, December 12.
