RELIEF OPERATION STATUS Over 80 trained Red Cross disaster workers are on the ground. We’re working with emergency management officials and partners across Oklahoma to support community needs and help residents recover.

Three shelters are currently open:

  • Luther Community Center, 18120 Hog Back Road, Luther
  • Payne County Fairgrounds Community Building, 4518 Expo Circle E, Stillwater
  • First Methodist Church of Mannford, 100 Greenwood E Ave., Mannford

The Red Cross has provided over 270 overnight shelter stays to date. Together with our partners, we have served over 8,000 meals and snacks to residents and first responders.

Red Cross disaster workers have assessed damage to nearly 460 homes. Of those, 370 homes were either destroyed or suffered major damage.

The Red Cross is assisting people in their recovery. Caseworkers have opened almost 60 cases, serving 85 people with recovery support, including financial assistance, replacement of eyeglasses and other medical needs like prescriptions. They are also working with shelter residents to help them find long-term places to stay.

Teams are in communities to distribute emergency supplies. To date, 560 relief items including comfort kits and other supplies have been provided to people in need and 60 total households have been served.
