Red Cross Opens Shelter at Luther Community Center

Luther’s devastation after Friday’s wildfires will be dramatic; that much is known, and it’s not over. Many families in the area have lost homes and property. No doubt there will be more assessing of damage in daylight. Meanwhile, the ache and horror of loss is real, and there will be many opportunities for us to help our neighbors.

For now, the American Red Cross has established a shelter and is establishing overnight housing as well as food, and other needs. The shelter is at the Luther Community Center.
