For the third year running, the Luther Pecan Festival will have a car show. Billy Jeffries, owner of DJ’s BBQ, took on the organization of the car show last year and is doing it again. It’s a true draw that brings car lovers to our town for the festival, and maybe some pecans, art and fun too. This year’s Luther Pecan Festival is November 16, 2019.

The Car Show will feature trophies and prizes for all categories of cars from classic to hot rods. Jeffries asks entrants to show up before 10:30 am on November 16, at his place at 204 N Ash (by the railroad tracks where Ash intersects with Main Street and the entrance to the festival).
Entry fee is $20 to DJ’s (not the Pecan Festival). Trophies, prizes and gift certificates will be awarded. There will also be live music from singer Brian Wilcox. Need more information, call DJ’s at 405-277-5025.
Other Pecan Festival highlights include the Pecan Cookoff (entry fees support 4 Our Community). Live stage produced by Opus Entertainment and featuring musicians to be announced soon. And stand by for word about the Main Street #GitUpChallenge at High Noon. The Luther Pecan Festival is Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10 am – 4 pm.
