Turner Turnpike Detour to 66

Looks like the Turner Turnpike will be closed for motorists going east between I-35 and Wellston overnight Monday. The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority doesn’t say what work its doing but presumably it’s connected to the EOC.

Traffic will reroute up to SH 66 and can get back on the Turner at Wellston.

There will be an overnight eastbound closure on I-44 from I-35 to Wellston on Monday, August 20, from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21. Crews will detour eastbound traffic at I-35 to SH-66 and will be placed back on I-44 at Wellston.
