Two Luther Lions football stars and two track stars have been selected for recognition at the The Oklahoman’s All-City Prep Sports Awards. The event is billed as a once-in-a-lifetime experience for outstanding high school athletes to be acknowledged for their achievements.
Graduates Dakota Pridemore and Tyler Leftwich will represent the Lions because of their successes and stats for the football team; while juniors Maia Wright and Caitlyn Bailey will represent the Lady Lions for their track accomplishments.
The Oklahoman is recognizing 528 athletes from more than 100 high schools for their on-field success, academic achievement and community involvement. Athletes, family members, teammates, coaches and community sponsors will enjoy a Q&A session with keynote speaker, five-time NFL MVP, Peyton Manning.
The event is June 15 at the Cox Convention Center.
