The OSBI reports it was also called to investigate another inmate hanging death from Sunday night. The OSBI says a jailer found Cody Joe McDonald (3/31/1988) hanging inside a cell he occupied alone at about 6:30 p.m. He was booked into the jail on May 11, 2016, on eight felony complaints which included drugs and weapons violations.

The OSBI says the medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy on each inmate to make an official ruling on the cause and manner of these deaths.
