Voters Invited to Bond Information Meetings

Luther School District voters are invited to attend one of four information meetings about the upcoming $26 million bond election. The meetings will bring together the bond advisor, architect, construction manager and superintendent to answer questions.

Dates of the meetings are July 11 and July 25, August 22 and September 5, at 7 pm each at the High School Commons.  The election is September 10, 2019.

Voters rejected a bond issue in January of this year. The evening meetings are an effort to provide more information about the projects and the tax impact before the September election.

  1. I have been to the school website but the information isn’t there….It shows just the first year property tax increase, what about the rest of the bond? Does this bond double the tax about half way thru like the one that was most recently voted down did? Where is all the financial information?
