Mayor Lea Ann Jackson says too many year-end activities with the schools made tonight’s regularly scheduled meeting a conflict for some. Tuesday night the elementary school music program will be held featuring the last concert by Mrs. LaVern Veasy who is retiring after 39 years.
Thursday, May 12, is the LEDA (Luther Economic Development Authority) meeting at 2 pm, according to Director Chere Kolar. That meeting is at Town Hall.
May 9, is the monthly Luther School Board Meeting. That meeting is at 6:30 pm in the auditorium. Those intending to make public comments must sign up with the board secretary.
