Friday afternoon, OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Unit agents, a Wellston Police Department officer, and Lincoln County deputies, executed an arrest warrant for Richard Keith Hernandez in the 600 block of Ash Dr. in Wellston. Hernandez (d.o.b. 6/15/1972) was arrested on a dozen complaints involving child sex abuse including forcible sodomy, rape in the first degree, and crimes against nature. The court set Hernandez’s bond at $500,000. He is being booked into the Lincoln County jail. The Murray County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI ICAC agents investigate allegations against Hernandez earlier this week. So far, investigators have found one sexual abuse victim.
