OBITUARY | Bill Craun

William Harry Craun, 76, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away on January 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born March 18, 1948, to Mable (Goodrich) and Harry Craun. Bill graduated from North East High School with the class of 1966 and graduated from Oklahoma Christian College with his Bachelor’s degree.

Bill worked as a diesel mechanic for many years before becoming a Supervisor at Jack Cooper Transport. Bill loved racing cars with his Dad, and loved watching his grandkids play sports; he hardly ever missed a game. He was extremely proud of all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In Bill’s later years, he worked at 66 Lake Stop store in Arcadia, Oklahoma. He enjoyed the customers who came in and loved listening to the stories they told.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his lifelong companion of 50 years, Jana Boutwell; daughter, Brandee Browning and husband Heath; five grandchildren, Haskell Browning (Katlynn), Blake Browning (Jessica), Braden Browning, Halyn Browning, and Bo Browning; three great-grandchildren, Holland, Brinley, and Posey, all of Luther, Oklahoma, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Viewing and visitation will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 5-7 PM at Byydston-Bailey Funeral Home, 105 S. Main, Luther. Services will be on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, 104 S Cedar, Luther, Oklahoma.
