“Mr. Taylor is lying, I have NEVER said anything like that about rural areas of Oklahoma County and he owes me an apology,” Stein wrote in an email to The Luther Register.
Acting Oklahoma County Sheriff PD Taylor continues his tour of unincorporated areas of the county to talk about “recent budget decisions out of his control.” Those decisions, he says, could jeopardize patrols in rural areas of the county, including Luther. He will host a public meeting on Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the Luther Community
“If the OCSO is forced to reduce its patrol, our department stands ready to assist them. It will be a tough job but our department is up for the challenge. We can do our part to help out in this time of need. Taking call or helping with their extra patrol anyway we can,” said Thurman.
